To change the electrical circuit breaker, you must first turn off the main breaker. The main breaker is the one which is located the top. An electrical circuit breaker is available at a store that stocks hardware and building supplies.

The next step is to use the largest flat screwdriver (which fits into the slot on the screw), attach the wire to the breaker, loosen that screw (without removing it) and pull the wire out (but not too far away). Then, with the help of the flat screwdriver, tilt the dead breaker back away from the centre and then pull it out.

A new breaker with a rating of not higher than 15 amperes can be bought and shoved into the slot in the panel. When the main breaker is off, attach the old wire to it and tighten the screw till it squeaks with the help of the largest flat screwdriver. Turn the main breaker and the new breaker on to make sure they work properly.
