Answer Question

There are a few ways in which exercise helps the body fight infection or prevent it for that matter. Exercise helps the body reduce stress. Stress causes the resistance level of the body to reduce making it vulnerable to infection. Exercise can also result in the release of endorphins into the blood stream which results in a general sense of well being that the body experiences. The body producers an increased quantity of macrophages, that were traditionally known as the garbage collectors of the human body, when a person exercises.

Macrophages are generally known to perform better when there are endorphins in the blood. Exercise also helps improve the cardio vascular health of a person and the circulation of blood throughout the body. It is important that exercise should in moderate amounts and that one should not over exert ones body as it can result in an infection.
