In this world of competitions, conflicts, confrontations it is necessary for any honorable country to be strong and stable. Now, the world is divided into sections or parts as far as development or progress is concerned. We have the seven groups of the most advanced countries, that is the US, Britain, Canada, Italy and Japan. Then there are other industrial powers like china, South Korea, Singapore, Holland, Russia and Switzerland. The group of developing or under developed countries include our own country, India, Bangladesh, Iran, Indonesia, turkey, most of the countries in the commonwealth of independent states which replaced the soviet union, for example, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan and most of the African and south American countries.

There is no doubt that our country at the turn of the century has not made the required headway that it was supposed to make after independence. Our people are mostly poor, uneducated and uncultured. Industry and agriculture are in bad shape. Internal and external trade both are far from satisfactory. Politics is outwardly and inwardly dirty.
If we really want to flourish in the 21st century with pride and hope, we shall have to change our social, economic and political system. The outdated, outmoded and outlandish feudal system will have to be given up or workers have no longer to depend on landowners or property owners for their earning or living. We have to develop our industry and agriculture by means of proper planning and action. Scientific education, research and training should have a very high place in the scheme of national reconstruction. Experts and men of learning and intelligence to change it for the better should examine the completely political system.
We should develop in our people through education, on the radio, television and the press, the common feeling of living in one country as a nation.
