    Alexandria is a must see. It was originally abusy port and colonial trading post and the boyhood home of Robert E. Lee. There are wonderful examples of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century architecture. It is located close to Washington D.C. Here are the top 5 things to see.
    Old Town Alexandria – The boyhood home of Robert E. Lee as well the town center for politics during the revolution. It is close to Christ Church. Walk down the cobblestone off King Street or visit some of the restaurants and small boutiques here.
