When Is Wimbledon?

Wimbledon is played every year at different times but is generally held from late June or Early July. Others mark their calendar by saying it is held 6 weeks before the first Monday in August. It involves playing 734 matches, in the 13 events over the 13 days of the tournament. Play is scheduled to start on Centre Court and No. 1 courts at 1:00 p.m.  for the first eleven days of play and at 2:00p.m. on the final days. On the other courts the start of play will be scheduled for midday for at least the first eight days and 11:00a.m. for Junior matches on the middle Saturday and during the second week.
