    While working with the wood chippers an operator must be very very careful. A minor mistake can lead to a very lethal injury or even to the death. The primary risk which associates with the use of wood chippers is that you can be caught in the rotating knives causing injury. Wear and tear of different flying parts of the wood chippers is another factor that must be taken into account while using wood chippers. A person can even be struck badly by these flying part like chopper hoods and rotating blades. To protect users from being struck by flying hoods, chippers should be thoroughly inspected each day before start-up.

    Users can reduce the risk of injury using wood chopper themselves. Use of protective equipment, reading of user manual, inspection of equipment before use are the key points to a safe use of wood chippers.

    According to estimation, more than 2000 injuries occurred during 1992 to 2001 in USA. Often mobile wood chippers cause more injuries than stationary or home wood chippers. Always keep attentive while working with wood chippers. A minor mistake can be very lethal while working on wood chipper.
