What Does` Basque `mean?

    The word Basque describes the kind of people who are the inhabitants of the south-western part of France and also of Pyrenees in the North-Central part of the country of Spain. The word not only describes those people but also their language and anything pertaining to the people whether it is music, clothing or something else.
            
    In Spain people of this group have an autonomous community which is known as the Basque country and they have a significant amount of autonomy when it comes to culture and politics.
           
    The word has another meaning also which describes a kind of cloth that is meant for the upper part of the body and a snug-fit one and also sometimes extends to the hips of the person wearing it.

    We have a lot of Basque people in northern Nevada, too. The language is called Esukara, and has no known proto-language.
