Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A hard-drive is defined as a rigid disk in a personal computer (which is abbreviated as a PC) and in the drive that houses it, which is known as the hard disk drive (which is abbreviated as the HDD). A hard drive is not removable. Hard disks can store extra data than floppy disks and hard disks can also be accessed quicker than floppy disks.

The hard drive is basically defined as the primary unit of storage on a personal computer, which is abbreviated as a PC. It usually has one or more than one magnetic media platters on which the digital data can be written as well as erased magnetically.

A hard drive is basically a disk drive which has permanent storage platters. The hard drive stores all the information on the personal computer (which is abbreviated as a PC) and retains this information even if the computer is turned off.
