    Basically the professional communication show the characteristics of standardized conversation, format and logical way of presenting something. Communication through letters also have the same characteristics. Like it has standard format, and it also helps you reinforcing something more easily as compare to talking on phone. Suppose, you have attended a meeting and you have left after thanking the hosts. If you send a thank you letter to the hosts after attending the meeting then it will show your concern towards them and you will reflect professionalism. Through the selection of right diction, format, paper, and ink color you can show your attitude towards the other person. Most of the businessmen who do not have time, surely go through their mails regularly. A letter can give more expressions as compare to a talk on telephone or an email. Therefore, still today, professionals in a company like to address others via letters.
