Human body can tolerate molds and micro toxins in minute quantities. In larger quantities, they can be hazardous to the health. The problematic part is that a "small quantity" for one person can be a "large quantity" for some other person and vice versa. In fact it can also depend on amount of time exposed to the mould i.e. quantitatively small amount of mold exposure for a long time can be harmful and large amount of exposure but for a short time may not be as harmful.
If one is already suffering from asthma then little exposures to mold can be really harmful but if one has no symptoms related to allergies or the immune system, presence of mold may not even be a problem. Toxic mold symptoms include flu-like symptoms, respiratory problems, headaches, cognitive problems, and skin irritation. Environmental illnesses can be difficult for health care practitioners to diagnose.
Health symptoms associated with Toxic Mold include:
1. asthma
2. sinus headache and nasal congestion
3. memory and hearing loss
4. dizziness
5. skin rashes and hives
6. excessive fatigue
7. flu-like symptoms
8. ongoing sore throat and chronic cough
9. bleeding in the lungs
10. pulmonary hemorrhage
11. permanent cognitive defects
12. increased risk of tuberculosis
