For my family the day after Thanksgiving is the start of the holiday season for us because that is when we put the tree up, it is a 7foot Martha Stewart artificial tree that spins slowly when it is on, I love helping decorate it.

We have the same tradition in our family...tree goes up at thanksgiving and comes down new year's day. I must tell you i have answered 3 or 4 of your questions and am encouraged by the fact that you always seem to care about everyone else; what they do, or how they feel about something. I love Christmas so much and I think the season is too short so.. I put up my tree and decorate the house in early October. Yes October! And leave it all up until late January or early February!
