    It is proved through research that around 98-99 percent of the spider bites are harmless. However, when these bites are through poisonous spiders, they can cause necrotic wounds, systemic toxicity, and in extreme cases death of the bitten person.

    The Medications of spider bites vary with the kind of Spider, Since every spider bite has different symptoms. If a person is bitten by Black Widow spider, the pain can be relieved with parenteral narcotics or muscle relaxants such as Valium, Robaxin and Methocarbamol. If Calcium Gluconate 10 percent is given intravenously, it relieved rigidity of muscle.

    Early excision of the bite site can help in prevention of extensive local necrosis. Oral corticosteroids can also help in achieveing this target.
