I Really Want To Give Up Smoking But I Really Don’t Seem To Have The Will Power. Is There Anything Out There That Can Help?
Answers
Giving up smoking can be extremely difficult and there are so many smokers out there who want to give up, yet like you, they simply can't. Luckily there are some methods out there which have been proven to work on others, which you could try. One of these things includes chewing gum. Many people find when they give up, if they replace their habit with another healthier one, it often helps to take their mind off having a cigarette.
Other people find that complementary therapies work such as acupuncture. Acupuncture has been sued for years to help smokers to quit and it does tend to work so it may be something you could try. Also, there are plenty of nicotine patches out there which are supposed to get rid of your cravings. However, there are a lot of fake ones out there so it may take you a while and a lot of money, to find one which suits you!

No matter which method you use to cut down on smoking, the majority comes from will power. If you're not that interested in stopping, then you'll always find a reason to smoke another one, or start stopping tomorrow.

Really quitting smoking is very difficult, for that one must have that much will power. But you can do the same in a systematic way. First try to reduce the amount you smoke. You can do this by chewing something like mouth freshener, chocolates, chewing gum. It can help with a 30-40% reduction. Then you should avoid coming out of your working place for a tea/coffee.

Don't forget that you can also get chewing gum which has a small amount of Nicotine in it. This helps stave the cravings, much like Nicotine patchs. As with all methods of giving up you need to summon as much discipline and will power as you can.

OK, iIwill tell you what. I used to smoke for years , and at first, when I thought I couldn't leave it, I thought it was due to a nicotine dependency. But truth be told, if you are with friends, if you are with a peer group that always smokes, you dont leave it EVEN WHEN YOU WANT TO, simply because you want to keep smoking for the heck of it. Trust me , most of the addiction, what you think, is more peer pressure than nicotine. Question yourself: ask yourself, you are the people you live with who also smoke? And you will see, you always have a company of friends who smoke too, and that is why you cant leave it so soon. If nothing works, identify your strengths. Look, I am a singer. I realized, after a long time, that smoking was destroying my voice, it was messing it up. Look at what you love to do. And realize that smoking will harm whatever things you love, your family, your girlfriend, maybe, and then, finally , yourself. Because my friend, if you say you can't leave smoking, your loved ones will think you are weak, and you are powerless over yourself, and that is a bad thing to be.
Everything in this world is in your head, my friend. There are no strict measures. Teach your head that you can't live with it. Like I said to myself, either sing, or smoke. That helped me most than anything. Take care!

Yes, I know quitting smoking is lot more difficult. I also had a bad habit of smoking. And was trying to quit it for two years, but i couldn't. However one blue moon day one friend came to my life. She is very cute and I like her very much. I don't know why, but she has changed my life. May be it could be some astrological reason. But I quit smoking in single day. So I would like to say that this could be one of the reasons to quit smoking.
You need to have strong will power and emotional support from some one like my cute friend. If you really have will power and if you actually like someone and trust him or her, then you will defiantly achieve this difficult task. Believe in yourself; don't fool yourself, decide the things and act on them. Best of luck.
