Yes i have been to turkey and its awesome.

Turkey is an Eurasian country which stretches across Anatolian peninsula in Western Asia in the Balkan region of the South Eastern Europe.

The city Istanbul is one of the most important tourism spots of Turkey. There are thousands of hotels catering to vacationers and visiting professionals. It has a number of major attractions which include:

• Sultan Ahmed Mosque
• Topkapi palace
• Galata tower
• Basilica cistern
• Cevahir Mall (which is the largest mall in Europe)

My favorite city however was Ankara. It is a historic town center with a variety of monuments and ruins. Although the city is not exactly a tourism destination, yet it serves as a major stop for travelers who are going towards Cappadocia. The mausoleum of Mustafa Kamal Ataturk (the founder and first president of Turkey) is also in Ankara. It is called Anitkabir.
