    Monopoly is a very old game that is holding its roots in 1900. In order to explain and let people understand the economic ideas of Henry George, an inventor named Lizzie Magie introduced a game called "The Land Lords Game". A few years later the game was commercially published. Over the years the game underwent many changes in order to make the game better.

    There was remarkable contribution from experts who were also interested game players. By 1930's, Parker Brothers introduced a game that was much like the version of Monopoly. According to Hasbro, the game that has been patented by Charles Darrow, have made to sell the maximum copies of board games in the field of economical business games. Though by the 1970, the early history of the game had been lost, all the controversies taken place after that, led to Charles Darrow being declared as the original producer of Monopoly.
