How Do You Play Blackjack?

The basic objective of blackjack is to get 21 or nearer to 21 without defeating the dealer's hand by going over it. Before the dealer deals out any cards you will have to place a bet. You will have to do this by putting some money or chips down on the table. Next the dealer will deal two cards apiece to all the players including himself. One of the cards he deals to himself will be face down and the other face up.  The face cards- that is the Kings, Queens and Jacks are worth ten points apiece and an Ace can be either be 11 points or 1 point. All the other cards will be counted as per their numbers like a four of hearts will be 4 points and so on.

You can win if you get a ten point face card like a King, Queen or Jack and an Ace. However remember that if the dealer gets a blackjack as well then it is a 'standoff'.
