What Are Cat Poisoning Symptoms?

I'm not sure of what happened to my cat. This afternoon she was fine, this evening however I found vomit, a very lethargic cat and I am very worried. I don't know what the symptoms suggest. She is also wheezing a bit. Thanks

Vomiting and lethargy are fairly vague signs that are attributable to many problems.  True toxicosis or poisoning is not too common.  Typically poisoning occurs after a known exposure to medication or things in the garage etc.  If your cat is an indoor/outdoor cat is is possible it was exposed to something toxic--though most people do not leave toxic chemicals or poisons easily accessible around their homes.  Dietary indiscretion--eating garbage, dead things, or plants etc from the yard are more common causes of vomiting.
Wheezing or difficulty breathing can be related to pain, discomfort, primary respiratory problems, or secondary to an allergic reaction.  Vomiting and lethargy can also be related to an allergic reaction.
Regardless of the cause if you cat is suddenly having trouble breathing, vomiting and very lethargic she needs to be examined by a veterinarian.
