Nope definitely not from that birth control.  Sounds like endometriosis to me.  I would get to the doctor soon.  It's easy to find most the time a simple ultra sound and blood test can confirm.  Don't wait too long because that pain gets worse.  If you can get pregnant but haven't yet, don't give up.  There is a high percentage of women with endometriosis after the do have a baby those symptoms never return.  Keep trying.

I have had endometriosis, and had a laproscopy, the endometriosis is aggravated when you are menstruating, you didn't say whether you had heavy bleeding, however i suggest you ask your gynecologist to perform a laproscopy for a diagnosis, this is a day procedure, and upon diagnosis if the need be the endometriosis can be diathermies (burnt off) by your gynecologist. It is common with us women so don't despair it can be fixed.

If the endometriosis is minimal, the woman will not experience related symptoms. If the condition is moderate or extensive, she may experience dysmenorrhea or dyspareunia.
