On bebo you can share your interests with other people and maybe even make some new friends that way. One of the most common interests is in music - or more specifically music genres and bands/artists in particular. A lot of groups and artists have their own bebo homepages which plays their music, shows pictures and gives you updates as to what they are up to.
There are several ways in which you can find a band you like and become a 'groupie'. First you have to have an account with bebo. Once you do, log in and click on Bands on the top menu.
From here you can browse musicians by genre - for example, rock, indie, rap, metal and punk. Click on the profile of the band you are interested in. Under their profile picture you will see a link which says 'Become a Groupie'. You will then reach a confirmation page. Click Become a Groupie.
You can also search for a band or artist using the link on the top or click on band links on your friend's pages.
