What Is The Formula For Potassium Phosphate?

    Potassium (elemental symbol and oxidation no. K1+) and Phosphate ion (PO4)3- form the compound Potassium Phosphate when the oxidation number's are zero this would mean that (K1+) must have a subscript of 3 to balance the Phosphate ion. This will bond the K and Phosphate ion and produce:

    K3(PO4), This is Potassium Phosphate
