Both the summer and winter Olympics are every four years, with two years between each. The summer Olympics were in 2008, so the next one will be in 2012, but the next winter Olympics will be in 2010, and the one after that will be in 2014.

Summer Olympics are every 4 years. They are played in different countries. We completed the summer Olympics this year in Beijing. The next one will be held in 20912 in London.
