Three cons of animal testing may be:
- The results might not be completely valid for human beings.
- Animal species might gradually become extinct over centuries.
- Expenses for storing or sustaining animals for testing may be high.

Depends who you ask. If you want it from a medical or scientific view point you'll get the sort of responses like:
Sometimes the results might not be the same results for humans, e.g. Morphine - a relxant and pain killer in humans has the results of hyperactivity in rats...
Its also expensive to maintain and keep animals.
Depending on where you are - aquiring all the licenses for legally testing on animals can be expensive, and very time consuming.
If you ask animal rights groups, you'll also get the sort of responses like:
Its cruel to the animals, they should be treated fairly etc, etc.

The cons of animal testing is that most of the animals are not treated with the respect and honor that they most likely deserve. Many humans today question why animals are cruel and mean and sometimes out of control but then you have to wonder why we as humans really treat animals the way our society treats them today

Animal testing is horrible because 90% of the animals are hurt then they die after they have been tested on..

The cons are that the animals are being hurt for no reason also it is bad because animals have a right to live and animals are being killed for the sake of others!

Too many animals die. Animals are injured and will live the remainder of their lives in captivity.
