Buyer beware that alot of warrany companies go out of business. I would check out the company real good. Plus read the warranty very closely. Some comanies well replace parts with used or rebuild, or worst just pay for a part they found at a junk yard and not send you the part but the money. Sometimes they send someone to look at the car before they ok any claims. This can keep your car down for sometime.  Factory warrantys are by far the best (most still read). I would say no. But if you real like the car you can check to see if that year and make of car has known problems at www.Kelly blue book.com. Try a carfax report it can help to see if it had a repeated problem, plus how many people owned the car and the miles they placed on it,flood,in a crash. If the jeep has over 100,000 miles its about time that things start to go if it was not cared for.

i ended up not bidding on it. because something seemed off about the bids, like they we're being artificially inflated. like this dealer had friends of friends bidding on the item to pump up the price. anyway excellent answer.
