Does The Powerball Lotto Encourage Responsible Gambling?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The Power ball lottery does encourage responsible gambling to those using its service. On the website it clearly shows a link to "play responsibly" on the left hand side, on every single page. It is in the best interests of any type of gambling service to encourage responsible gambling, as any game should be fun, without any detriment to the player.

The Power ball providers have a whole page dedicated to their support of responsible gaming. They follow suggestions from the National Council on Problem Gambling, and give direct links to this charity's site as well as displaying their phone number. The Power ball site openly states that any purchase should reflect available funds, and it also offers further assistance for anyone with a gambling problem or anyone that knows someone in a gambling predicament.

The contact details of the Association of Problem Gambling Service Administrators are also given direct links, for assistance at a state level. There is a set minimum age for players, and this is easy to enforce as tickets are bought by licensed vendors only who can ask for ID.
