Where Is Bexhill On Sea?

    Bexhill on Sea is situated in the Rother District Council area in East Sussex, England. This small town is also a popular seaside resort. The Charter of 772 of King Offa of Mercia, brought this town into existence. Its street names like Sackville road, Buckhurst Road and De La Warr parade are reminders of its different owners over the years.

    It boasts of some prominent buildings like the Bexhill museum established in 1914, the Clock Tower, Baird Court and Town Hall among others.

    It has many attractions ranging from the De La war Pavilion, the Pole Grove Recreation Ground to Golf courses and Sailing Cubs. UK's first motor race held in 1902 was held in Bexhill on Sea, in which Leon Serpolet's Easter Egg Steam Car won.  

    It is now has highest number of retired people than any other town in the UK. Famous People like Desmond Llewellyn of James Bond fame and comedian Eddie Izzard lived here.
