    Maybe because there is no other place like Jamaica??? Just like your country..there's only one of it.

    If you mean famous, we are known for wold's best coffee- Blue Mountain coffee, creators of Reggae music via Reggae Legend Bob Marley, success of great athletes such as Usai Bolt, Merlene Ottey (now Mrs. Ottey-Page)

    there's a saying in jamaica, we little but we talawa.. That  is  "we may be small country but we have powerful impact"
