    Natural resource map, as name suggests, is a map of a geographical area which gives information about the natural resources available in a particular area. The map not only shows the map, but also the trend that is taking place in that particular area.

    A map that shows the quality of water in a particular lake can come under the heading of natural resource map. The map also shows the movement of fish like salmon and trout, or also a particular course a river is taking. The map also gives information about the species of plant existing in a particular area and classifies them in accordance with their categories.

    The map gives says all about the availability of ground water and its not only ground water, but the floodplains maps also come under this category.
