If you have a prescription for this medicine, then you shouldn't have to worry about it showing up in the urine test, you should just show them that you have it, and they cannot hold that against you. Hope this helps.

Only if they test for it. The likelihood for that is minimal because I don't think they test for nonbenzodiazepine hypnotic. No, I didn't know that, I got it from wiki ;) lol! en.wikipedia.org

I understand that if you have a RX for it they shouldnt hold it against you but they still might and for waht I do it's not an option.

Ambien does not show positive on a 10 panel urine screen. I took one on a Saturday, and had a urine on the following monday, and Ambien wasn't present on the results.
