3 years age is good to breed your dog but after getting fitness certificate from the vet. Although male dogs can make females pregnant at the age of one year but generally it is not recommended to use them for mating because they might be having poor quality of sperms and secondly, some fitness tests are possible at 2 years of age. So, you should use male dogs after 2 years of age for breeding after getting fitness certificate from vet.
