What Is Employee Privacy Right In The Workplace?
I need 1500 word for employee privacy right in the workplace.
Answers
Employees' privacy rights in the work place can be close to non-existent. Especially if we are talking about your employer's property-desks, telephones, computer and email are all areas that your employer has a right to access.
You have a right to your private life outside of work as long as it does not reasonably interfere with work. However, employees can compromise their privacy by sharing personal details of their lives or co-workers could find out a personal detail and discuss this at work. This can be protected as discussing personal details of a co-worker could have implications of several labor laws including Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, etc.
