Well the bath part I don't mind, but as for using dish soap, well, I think this is the beginning of a dogs hate for baths. What we may seem as clean and fun, they may seem as offensive and intrusive. No let the dog play in water and get used to it first. Then slowly introduce the bubbles part

I"m a dog breeder and I bath my pups in baby shampoo in case it gets in their eyes.,. Works wonderful and has for years.
Do NOT ever wash ANY pets with Dawn dish detergent, it will take all the natural oils from the skin, which is not good at all! Get either a baby shampoo or a puppy shampoo.

You should NEVER bathe ANY animal with Dawn dish detergent. It will take all the natural oils from it's skin, then you will be paying a vet bill cause more than likely it will get demodectic mange Get a puppy shampoo or better yet used Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo or baby bathe.
