Answer Question

In 1930's, hats were in fashion and were extensively used in Europe and other parts of the world. They were an important part of each garment in Europe and were available in a wide variety. The high crowns and wide brims which were lost in the 1920's came back in fashion in the 1930's. In 1930's, more variety and designs of hats were available then ever.

Milliners were a major maker of hats and were looking at Europe for inspiration. Perky hats were popular with a Cossack or Austrian feel; these were mainly used to create an outdoor sporty look. By 1935, high crowned tilted at a brisk angle were considered flirtatious and outgoing. The Florentine hat is the creation of the 1930's. The modern snood was also introduced in 1930s. Snoods were crocheted and knitted and were easy to make at home.
