How Do You Handle Change When Employees Do Not Want To?
Answers
'The only thing in this world that is permanent is change'. This management mantra is very true even in the corporate world. It can be difficult to adjust to but let's face it- pay changes, role changes and mergers happen and people have to adjust.
There are a few things you can try to get your employees to adjust. Firstly, give them a pep talk - incorporate how much you appreciate them adjusting, how well they have worked and do your best to minimise the degree of changes they may have to make.
Another thing you can do is hike their salaries if possible. More money will usually get even the most difficult of employees to see things differently. You can also try to make your employees see that change is an integral part of growth and is one of the fundamental principles upon which a successful career should be based.
