According to the Bulova people, there are 2 things to look for. The first is the style number on the watch face near the numeral 6, visible with a magnifying glass, and usually 2 numbers, a letter, and 2 numbers. The second is the date it was made on the back of the watch, usually as a letter and a number. If you can find those, call 1-800-BULOVA, and they can verify it is authentic.
Any respectable jeweler/watchmaker should also be able to tell you about your watch. Bring all paperwork you have for it and the watch itself to one you trust.
