Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

If you are a beauty therapist then there are a number of possibilities to your career. To name a few, you can run your very own salon, sail the world while working on a liner, join the luxurious market of health farm or day spa, or you could even become a lecturer at a most renowned college or even a private centre. You could even work at home.

In order to be a part of this beauty world first you will have to search for a salon or training provider that provides National or Scottish Vocational Qualifications (NVQ/SVQ) in Beauty Therapy. You will have to work at a salon to gain some kind of practical experience, wherein you could learn a little on aroma therapy as well. You can still learn further the advanced techniques to remove thread veins and warts and as an aroma therapist you could also learn Shiatsu, Reiki or Indian Head massage.
The minimum requirement you require for a career in Beauty Therapy is Level 2. This will offer you the initial step to fetching an experienced Beauty Therapist and teach you in the essential services obtainable in the salon.
