How Do You Deal With Difficult People?

These can be hard to do. I have to do it every day  at work. First  if they are upset let them blow off some stem , and don't take anything they say personal because the things people say when they are blowing off stem can be hurtful if you take it personaly. Second after they blew off some stem and are still difficult try talking some sence into them. If Step one & two don't work try taking control of the situation.  When doing this think of this saying " Control the situation DO NOT let  the situation control you." After all of this if none of these steps work either walk away and get someone else deal with it.   When dealing with diffIcult  people try not to take things personally because  it just makes thing worse. Thats about it hope it helped.

In life there are always diffulculties!  I don't think people in general are always difficult but have issues that they aren't  always able to handle. I would kill them with kindness and do everything possible to diffuse the situation. If all else fails then I would do whatever within reason to appease this person!  And this doesn't work I would ask someone else for advice on how to diffuse the situation.

Dealing with difficult people should be like treating them like normal people. THen only we can deal them properly.

You absolutely have to set boundaries with these people. Decide what you will, and will not put up with. When they try to coerce you into their drama, devise a motto or saying that you adhere to. Try Amore's group Ancient Wisdom, for inspiration. It could be something simple like " I do Not get involved in disputes between friends". Or " I like to keep things positive". I make it a point not to '(fill in the blank)'____! Let them know where you stand. That should block some of the negativity. Repeat it, because you probably will have to. You are a man of principle. You do not accept, unacceptable behavior, from anyone.
