Which Flag Does Not Have A Jump Instruction In 8085 Microprocessor?

Answer Question

The jump instructions in 8085 microprocessors are also known as branches. They are called program flow commands. Branches or jumps have various different. Their names either reflect the way they perform the jump function or what condition causes to carry out the jump instruction. These conditions could either be an overflow or an underflow. The results of the jump could either be zero or not zero.

But all of these branches or jumps stop the normal sequential (or step-wise) execution of the program. They jump to another location and not to the next instruction in the sequence. Each of the flags has the jump instruction in 8085 microprocessor.

In case of the jump on condition of a bit, these instructions let the users make a jump based on whether a certain bit is set or cleared. When a certain bit is said to be set, it is represented by a one (that is, the number 1). On the other hand, when a certain bit is said to be cleared, it is represented by a zero (that is, the number 0). These bits can either be the CY (or carry) flag or the Z (or zero) flag or any other bit.
