    The record for the longest unbeaten record in international football belongs to Brazil.  

    Between nineteen ninety three and nineteen ninety seven Brazil went forty five matches unbeaten.  That sequence included victory for the South Americans in the nineteen ninety four world cup finals which were held in the United States of America.  Brazil won the final after beating Italy in the final with Itailian legend Roberto Baggio missing the penalty that handed victory to the Brazilians.  

    That Brazilian team included the emergence of Ronaldo, who arguebaly played his best his football for both club and country during Brazils unbeaten streak.  

    Brazil took the record for the most international games with out defeat from Hungary who during a period between June nineteen fifty and July nineteen fifty four went thirty one international games unbeaten.  

    During this period Hungary famously came to Wembley and thrashed Walter Winterbottom's England side, who had previously been unbeaten at the twin towers.
