What Can Cause My Dog To Have Seizures Even While She Is Taking Phenobarbital?
She started having seizures in march and was prescribed pheno. She seized through that. We upped her meds and she seizes through this. What can you tell me is wrong with her. All her blood work and physical examinations came back clear.

Some of the things that could cause a dog to have a seizure is a brain tumour or a head injury. The Lyme disease and the Rocky Mountain spotted fever which are caused by ticks could also lead to seizures. Canine viral diseases such as the canine distemper virus could also cause seizures in dogs.
