Is It Ok To Feed My Pup Raw Eggs To Keep Her Coat Shinny? If So, How Often And How Much?

I've heard mixed thoughts on this subject.Please help.

    It's fine for an older pup or dog... But I'd probably wait until at least 6 months.  For a medium to large dog, I'd do one egg, two or three times a week... For a smaller dog you might want to go with half a beaten egg instead.  


    Some people are concerned about the possibility of contracting salmonellosis from raw eggs, but particularly here in the states the chances of contamination are almost nil, and a healthy dogs digestion system is well equipped to handle it.

    Thank you dll!! Now it's just a question of whether or not she will eat them!!(very picky)

      Try not to feed your dog too much eggs because it causes them to have diarrhea. You should feed eggs to your dog about twice a week.
