It depends on what type of hard drive as to the connection as the sata has a different cord but basically you connect the cord and the power supply to the back of the hard drive. Then you need to check the dip switch and set one hard drive as master and the other as slave or auto select. Then you slide the hard drive in the the hard drive bay. There may be soft ward that needs to be installed before the hard drive but the hard drive should come with this documentation.
