My 13 Month Old Maltipoo Has Been Having Seizures For A Day And A Half, Other Than The Seizures She Is Doing Fine. What Could It Be?
I am out of town and very concerned about her.
Answers
The seizures are common in dogs. About 7% of dogs suffer from epilepsy. First thing is that you have to diagnose that your dog is having true seizures. Because there are many conditions which looks like seizure but are not seizure. The major difference is if the dog become unconscious during seizure, then it is a true seizure. The most common cause of seizure in dogs is lead poisoning. I advise you to visit Vit for proper diagnosis and treatment. For more details, visit Seizures in dogs.
