There can be several reasons for it. She might be sick or afraid of something. You must take her to the vet for treatment.

You didn't say how old your kitten is, so it's hard to say. My one cat meows a lot when he's hungry, and then once I had a female cat who just "talked " a lot. That's why I named her Gabby. If it is an older kitten, like 6 months or older and she is not spayed you must consider that she may be starting her first heat, in which case you need to get her to the vet and get her spayed.
