How Many League Games Did Scouser Jimmy Case Play For Liverpool?

Born James Robert Case in Liverpool, May nineteen fifty four, Jimmy Case went on to play one hundred and eighty six league games for the Anfield club in a career that spanned eight years and scored twenty three league games.  

Graeme Souness once said that the great Liverpool teams of the late seventies and early eighties were just as happy to play football or go to war against their opponents, they fancied their chances either way.  Jimmy Case was a player similar to Souness, in that he was perfect to play either.  A fine passer with good technique, he was also ultra aggressive if required and had one of the hardest shots in the league.  

After enjoying massive success as a Liverpool player in the seventies, Case was sold to Brighton and Hove Albion in nineteen eighty one, where he went on to play a further one hundred and twenty seven league games for the Seagulls.
