Well in the 40'C is normal. I was there 2 years ago and brought a cheap thermometer and whilst on the beach it had burst with max temp of 50'C. It is very hot and I would not recommend being out in the sun for more than a hour, so break it up with a bit of snorkeling as the fish around there are plentiful and wonderful to look at. I'm going back this July. Just watch out for the shop traders as they drag you in and it is extremely difficult to get out without buying something. Hope you enjoy yourself.
