    Virgin birth is term from Christian religion belief from the ancient time. It was the fundamental principle of the orthodox Christianity. According to that elementary doctrine Jesus had no natural father. His mother was marry, who conceived Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. The fundamental principle about Jesus' birth was based on the Gospels of Mathew as well as Luke.

    The principle or doctrine about the birth of Jesus as the virgin birth which was based on the writings of Mathew and Luke was accepted by the Christian church in the time of 2nd century. The principle is still remained as the essential principle of faith in Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy as well as most of the protestant churches. The doctrine is also remained as the essential doctrine of belief in Islam.

    A consequence of its code of belief was the principle of Mary's eternal virginity. It was accepted by the Orthodox as well as Roman Catholic churches. It was also accepted by some Lutheran as well as Anglican theologians.
