    You basically have to find the x and y intercepts of the line with equation 2x-5y=7 .The slope intercept general form  is :

    Ax+by=c.

    X=c/a and y=c/b.

    Now just put values like:

    X= 7/2 and y= -7/5(- sign since -5).So the solution set is (7/2,7/5).Hope you have understood the process.

      -5x + 5y = 7
      -10x + 9y = 14
