It happens right after periods, and it is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood always looks brown and you don't need to be worried. However, if you are experiencing brown discharge from a long time then it can be infection.

It could be just excess blood leaving your body, had the same problem before, and everything was fine, its just you body's way of cleaning itself
