Its very sticky, unlike candle wax.

You can try the same way that gets candle wax out of carpet. Lay a paper bag on the spot and take an iron to it. The bag should soak up most of it. Hope it works for you.

I had dried hair removal wax on my carpet and to get it out i put a little wax residue remover over it to make it not sticky then I took a hair dryer to it and scraped it up with a butter knife. It worked quite well.
