    A spade is a black card. Half of the cards in a deck are black. The probability of drawing a black card at random from a standard deck is 1/2 = 50%.

      A black card for sure would be half deck which is 50% but please correct me if I am wrong This problem seems to have to parts
      There are two types of black cards. 1 being a spade. So if a spade is pulled the equation would become 1/2 x 1/2 = 1/4 = .25 or 25% for only a spade being pulled
